Del Rio Man Victim Of Credit Card Fraud

A man in Del Rio reported to Cocke County police that he had been the victim of credit card fraud. Barry Bowlus of Del Rio told deputies that the number and information for his Mastercard had been stolen and had been used to make purchases through Apple pay. Bowlus stated he used the card frequently at the J & S market in Del Rio and believes an employee there is responsible. Deputies tried to locate the man Bowlus identified but were unable to. The total placed on that card over a 6 day period was just over $137. Deputies stated they will be following up with J & S Market in del Rio regarding this case.
