Grand Jury Indicts For first Degree Murder

A Grand Jury in Buncombe County NC has indicted a 16-yer old girl and her adult male accomplice for first degree murder. Investigators say that 16-year-old Star Grant and 28-year-old Devan Loving shot to death Grant’s adopted father, his wife and his mother at a home in the Fairview community just outside Asheville. The pair then fled to East Tennessee where they were found at a Gatlinburg motel on May 8. The two were then extradited back to North Carolina a couple weeks ago and charged.

A Grand Jury this week indicted the two on three counts of first-degree murder as well as one count each of felony conspiracy to commit murder. Loving was also indicted for the abduction of a child. Star Grant is being charged as an adult in this case. She will be arraigned on June 29.
