Morristown Man Who Shot Intruder Found Not Guilty
A Morristown man has been found not guilty of shooting and killing an intoxicated man who entered his home. Back on July 28, 2021, police in Morristown were called to a home on Clover Dale lane. They found 44 year old Brian Stone dead from a gunshot to the head. The homeowner, Thaddeus Wallace told police at that time that Stone had come into his home uninvited. An altercation then ensued between the two and Wallace shot Stone with a Kel-Tec 9mm handgun. Wallace was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter where he could have faced up to 15 years in prison. On Wednesday, Wallace was found not guilty of all charges against him.
