Police Respond To Altercation

Officers responded early Tuesday morning shortly after midnight to Newport Manor Apartments about two females fighting. Upon arrival, they found 32 year old Chyna Swaggerty yelling expletives at another woman in the complex regarding a dispute over $60. Numerous residents were out of their apartments due to the noise from the altercation. Swaggerty was given several warnings to calm down as she was disturbing the peace. However, she did not heed those warnings and was arrested for disorderly conduct. Police also found an unlabeled bottle in her possession containing cut straws and a baggie with half a Xanax pill. That added a charge of manufacture sale and delivery of schedule IV drugs to her sheet.
