Sevier County Infant Killed In Dog Attack

A tragic event in Sevier County Sunday night. A 6 month old infant was killed by the family dog. Sevier County police say it happened at a home in Kodak around 6:15 Sunday evening when they got a call about a 6 month old not breathing. First Responders arrived and found the child had been attacked by the family dog. The infant was pronounced dead at the scene, a family member was injured trying to get the large dog off the 6 month old child. The dog became aggressive to first responders and was put down on the scene. The Sevier County Sheriff’s office in investigating.
