Tennessee’s Unemployment Rate Unchanged For July

Unemployment numbers for July were released yesterday (Thursday) and the state’s unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.3%. According to the report, Tennessee employers added 110,000 new employees in July. Currently there are 3,409,628 people in the workforce in the state. The national unemployment rate dropped just a tick from 3.6 to 3.5% in July. Individual county unemployment numbers will be released next week.
