Revoked License Leads To Different Charges
A man wanted for driving on a revoked license now faces a different charge after he was spotted driving by a Cocke County deputy of Friday. 54 year old Martin Ball was pulled over in a Dollar General parking lot on Friday. After acting nervously, he admitted that he had some marijuana in the truck. A search of the truck found more than marijuana, as deputies located 2.17 ounces of methamphetamine. Ball reportedly told Corrections officers at the jail that “they found it”. Ball has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to sell or deliver.
After Ball’s arrest, police executed a search warrant at his home in Cosby, on Monday, during that search, officers found more methamphetamine in Ball’s home along with suboxone strips, and firearms. During that search, 39 year old Melinda Reed, was arrested on several drug charges involving the narcotics investigation against Ball, who now faces additional charges regarding firearms.
