Man Arrested For Attempting To Defraud Bank

Last week a man attempted to defraud a local bank. Police say that 34 year old Joseph Bradley Stuart went into the Tennessee State Bank and opened a checking account with a fraudulent check for $650….then Stuart received $550 in cash. Later the same day, Stuart came into the bank with another $650 check….once again fraudulent. However the bank had called police who arrived on scene and arrested Stuart for fraud, forgery and criminal simulation. He had even more fraudulent checks on him at the time of his arrest. Stuart was also in the possession of illegal narcotics and was also charged with schedule IV drug possession.
